Default Tire size info needed.

I have 15" bogart wheels, I am looking for a couple different tire options.

I have a set of MT ET Street 26x11x15
I have a set of Hoosier QTP 28x11x15

I was looking at the BF Goodrich 325x50x15 drag radials. Can anyone tell me what that is comparable to? Exactly how tall would this tire be? and 325x50 is that the same as 27x10?

Thanks,
Lee

325/50-15 is roughly the equivalent of a 28x12.5 tire.
But IMO with your setup, you'll need ET Streets or QTPs... I don't think BFG drag radials will do you any good.

Well here's what I got..

I am currently running 17" wheels on the street with 274/45-17 Nitto 555 DR. Since I only drive my car to work when the weather is nice (about 8 miles) or to the track to race, I am wanting to change out my rear rubber for the street.

I am trying to figure out what is the largest and widest street tire I can get away with on 15" wheels. I am looking at either Weld or Centerline 15x10s for the street. The 275x45 Nitto's have 0 traction in 1st and some of 2nd gear, it feels like they are too skinny and too short.

I was thinking 15x10 with a 11.5" tire would be nice. And anything between 27-28" tall would help with traction and lower my rmp's a little too.

I noticed that BFG had 325x50-15 DR. I found the formula for converting tire size to inches.

325x50-15 = 28x12.8-15

If those #'s are correct 12.8" is too wide eh? My Hoosier 28x11.5-15 fits right in with no fendor mods, I don't even know if 12.8" is a reality? I don't mind taking the BFH to the fender lips etc. What do you guys think?

Also I saw that MT has a Sportsman tire 28x11.5-15. This would be ideal, and I've seen this tire on alot of ProStreet hot roads around town. Does anyone know if they will grab as well as the DR's? It looks like it has regular tread, here is a pic:

Has anyone ever tried these for daily driving?

Thanks,
Lee
