Default Where can I find 16 x 8 drag wheels?

I have been running some 255/50/16 MT DR's at the track on a pair of camaro wheels. I was wondering where I could find some drag wheels that I could put those tires on and would be the correct off set for a formula.

I am going to have to either buy some more stock wheels or buy a drag wheel to put these tires on...

Thanks

We can build you a 16x8 drag wheel though it would be very unconventional to do so. For best results, we would change to a 15x10 wheel which would enable you to run a better tire setup.

The benefit of changing to drag wheels are weight. Our wheels can be more then half the weight of most stock wheels.

I just thought I had seen some prostars in a 16 before. I don't want to do a slicks and skinnies set up right now; however I know I need to in the next year or so. Just wanting something that will give me some time until I have enough cash to get some good race wheels.

You may have, but I'd save your money to be honest. Even if your budget is for economy prostars....wait and save until you need it. Obviously, if you want the best weight benefit, using even prostars is like leaving ~50 converted static pounds on your car vs using our Bogart drag wheels.

Hope this helps,

I looked for a long time on Ebay before I found a set of 16x8" weld prostars. The wheels I bought this year have a manufacturer date of 5/99. Keep an eye out on ebay if you have to have a set of 16x8" wheels. Weld hasn;t made this size for a long time.
