Nitto 555r owners please! I have 9.5x18 C6 Replicas from tomzwheels. Anyways I need new tires. I've read great things about Nitto555rs but couldn't find anything about road noise. Are they loud at all? I have some shitty Dunlops right now that have made a droaning noise since the day I bought them. And just to reasure me, the traction is great right? Also a 285/35 will fit my 9.5 right? I tried to search for all of this but no sucess.

they are a realy good tire. i has a 91 lx 5.0 stang that had dunlops on it when i got it and they sucked bad they was loud and the vibrated a lot. the nittos are a very smothe tire and they are quiet. as for traction the hook good for a street tire. my stang was built and with the dunlops the car would just sit there and spin and after the nittos it would let out a bark or 2 and take off. i think there one of the better tires out there. i ordered a set of falken fk451's when i got my camaro and they suck *** realy bad and vibrate and are very noisey. go with the nittos.

They were relatively quiet on my car. They stuck well, but in REAL cold temps (<40* F), at the track (even well prepped), they just would NOT hook, EVEN with a 10 second burnout!!! 
This same night, EVERYONE on MT and BFG DRs were getting new best 60' and e.t.s (with HALF the burnout!!!!) 
On the street, they "go away" extremely quickly in sub 50 degree weather. (To the point that a good UHP all season will KILL them off the line.)

I have nitto's 555r's and mickey thompson et drag radials! The nitto 555's are quiet and ride good. I ran 12.82 with the nitto's! With the same set up I just ran 12.70! Nitto are a good compromise for street/track tires. Mickey's still rule!
