Find a discount tire and have them road force balanced if you are using a regular shop / balancer.

I'd say there's more than a decent chance you got a bad tire. Have them try spinning it and see if it follows the tire.

UPDATE! I called the place where the wheels came from, and they do not require hub centric rings....

The long story:

My friend got in an accident with his 1999 Z28. He was on the NYS thruway and someone merged into him off an on-ramp, Hit him in the passnger door, and went down the side of the car. His car was lowered and this was like a newer higher car so it hit the rear 1/4 instead of hitting the wheel, and we all know on f-bodys the rear 1/4 sticks out more than the wheel anyway, well this car pushed the feder down and made contact with the tire, creating an additional groove in the tread. Could this be the cause of my vibration? I am thinking about just purchasing new tires.

If you put the tire on the balancer and spin it by had you can see if it has a seperation. also check all around the tire and see if you have any low spots, if you havent pulled your Ebrake and created a flat spot that is a sign of a seperation. Like toddd said if you find a shop that can "Road Force" or "Force Match" a tire instead of just spin balancing this can fix or atleast let you know if you have an out of round tire. Its all high speed vibration you are talking about 50+ so more than likely its a tire not your wheel. If they wont charge you much have them dismount the tires and spin just the wheel.

There is one other thing you can check. Make sure that they removed your stock rotor clips. I know it sounds dumb but we have had people come to my shop that buy wheels off ebay and bolt them on at home and they didnt remove the clips so it cant sit flush on the hub. That could be another easy fix.

wheels ended up being bent a little tiny bit, but we put them back on the car and torqued the lugs down and it feels fine, I dunno what to do now.

I'm giving the wheels back, it's a shame they looked so nice.

How was this discovered? I thought they didn't seem bent the first time they where on the balancer.

We uses the measuring arm on the balancer and put it near the rim, it was bowed out in one spot. everytime it spun around the one spot it hit the arm
