Please I am only asking the guys that have actually done it and don't need opinions from people that heard why or why not to do it.
To be more specific, radial street tires on front and 28x10 ET Street on the rear to be used at the drag strip only. Other than having good traction, were there handling or stability issues?

I ran a 33x16.5S M/T Slick and a 165 radial on the front of my 65 Chevy II street / strip car for 3 years, never had a single problem.
Had some ET streets on my Camaro, front radial tires, at track is fine, on the street make sure they are aired up, they won't handle corners well.

i had 275/40 nittos on front, and 26x10 et street on back and it seemed to some issue with the brakes... dont really know much about why but it seemed like when i would mash on the brakes at the end of the quarter it was almost as if my ABS was kicking in and out. May have just been my car.
