New Wheels on my Vette

Hey guys...while I don't do alot of posting here anymore, I still lurk everyday. If insurance wasn't so damn much for the F-bodies, I'd have another TA for my DD again. Anyways, here are the new wheels for my Vette. They are 18x9.5/19x11 Ace Slick wheels...their quality doesn't compare to the CCWs I had on my last car, but I really think they give it a good look. I think the sharp edges on these wheels go really well with the chisled body of the C6. For some reason, there aren't alot of F-bodies with these wheels, as they are different from the C6Z06 replicas that everyone runs. Lemme know what you think - this is probably the last of the appearance mods until spring. Next up is some performance stuff

wheels look good on the vette. i like the way its blk on top just like the old 98 to 99 camaro's

I LOVE the look of the all black canopy. I've only seen it on a few vette's and it definitely makes them stand out. Gorgeous car and the new rims are PERFECT!

I thought you knew man...I had someone way overpay me for that C5. He had been in love with it since the beginning. He had it two months and totalled it

I was looking at a C5Z or a Vert with all the extra cash from the sale, but this C6 deal fell into my lap and I had to jump on it. Its great to have a car with a warranty! Did you sell your car too? Shoot me a PM

Hang on, your telling me that insurance on an F-body is more than a C6?? Not saying I don't believe you but that makes no sense to me. But assuming thats true, where do you live and why are there so many F-body's stolen there?

Wheels look great! Good choice, it kinda completes the car.

The price of parts is relatively cheap...couple all that together, and its cheaper. I am, on average, about $500 less a year on this 2006 Vette than I was with my 1998 Trans Am...I'm sure rates vary by area, age, driving record...but thats just my own experience.
