Watched a car go into the wall... Hey guys, this past weekend at VMP I watched a gorgeous 74 camaro go into the wall from what looked to be wheel stud failure or a spun centersection. The right wheel just popped right off, the left hooked and launched him flat into the wall. Carroll Shelby said that tires are the most important part of a car, so I'm gonna include wheels and other associated things in there too.
My point is of all the places you want to save money on your car, the last place to cheap out is wheels and tires, you can blow a motor on the bottle, throw a rod on boost, or miss a shift and blow your tranny, and still have a rolling car. Ive rarely seen a wheel/tire failure that didnt end up really bad, just ask John Force. So spend some money on this stuff guys, you shouldnt have any doubts about any part of your car when the christmas tree turns on!
