thinking of buying c5 wheels
thinking of buying c5 wheels these are the 5 spoke kind
will i have any fitment problems if i put them on a 98 camaro?
they came off of a 2000 vette, 17" front and 18" rear
i also did a search, but didnt find what i was looking for.
also, the wheels are advertised as polished.. is this different than chrome? is there any problems with them?
what tire size would you guys recommend for the front/back so the sidewall looks equal, but some wider tires on the back

No, you will not have any problems with them fitting. The wheels being polished; yes, they are different from chrome meaning if you want them to shine it will take a lot more upkeep. No, there is no problems with polished wheels, just as I stated its more upkeep to keep them looking good. I have wagon wheels and I would assume they're going to be the same widths as my wheels, the tires I have are 245/45/17 up front and 275/40/18 in rear and I think it looks perfect although if I decide to keep these wheels I'm going to end up with some meatier out back. Hope this helps!

also, i remember a tire thread a long time ago where people were talking about the tires they have, and what they think is the best.. IIRC there was a poll attached.. anyone know where that thread went?

I have a set of polished c5 Y2K(thin spoke) in 17x8.5 and 18x9.5 with Nitto 555s(not drag radials) that I'm trying to sell. I have some pics on photobucket if you're intrested. It just depends on personal taste man.. I like polished and chrome and would go with either depending on the wheel. On the Y2K wheels I like chrome since I see those more than polished but the polished look good too.
