Weld Prostars - F-body?
Do the 15x10 Weld Prostars stick out the fenders more than the 15x8 on an F-body?
In other words do the wheels go more in towards the inside of the fender or do they stick out more?

It would depend on the backspace of the two wheels. That being said, the typical F-body designs are ~7.5" on a 10" wheel. On 8's they are 5.5" (this is due to other manufactures NOT having anything deeper for their 8" wheels. Our Bogarts...IF I designed an 8" wheel for an F-body, I WOULD not set it at 5.5", it would and could be deeper. Stock F-body 8" wheel is over ~1" deeper for what it's worth...
...A common misnomer...For a bit of clarification, a 15x8 w/5.5 BS WILL push the tire out further then a comparable 15x10 w/7.5" backspace.
Why so you may ask? I'll try to simplify the answer. Take the 15x10 wheel w/7.5" BS, mount it on the car. Picture how the wheel sits and centers on the wheel. NOW take that same wheel, leave it on the car and imaging cutting two inches off the inside of that wheel which makes it an 8" wheel w/5.5" BS. The tire will recenter on the wheel moving it to a new centerline.
Another problem with an 8" wheel is they are really on the fringe, not really the best choice for the typical tires F-bodies are using on their cars. Generally, the tire is not as stable and the sidwall is compressed too much.
Hope this oversimplification helps some folks.

I appreciate the big help guys. Thanks! See Im actually trying to purchase some ProStars for my truck, so I need a size that has the most positive offset because the adapters also work as spacers.
