i will have a set of rears in my hands this weekend. i have a lt car in my shop now, and i have my 9" out of my car now w/ ls brakes that have been previously ground. i will check clearances and take pics on both. the front rims are still on backorder as of now, but we are guaranteed to be the first ones to get them. to those of you that have placed orders already...thanks. for those of you thinking about it... i would get on the list because they will sell out quickly.
and for the fittment matter... i can sell a set of wheels and a set of rear brakes from Strange or Wilwood for the same cost of just a set of Bogarts. i know how much the bogarts are... i own a set. just something to think about. the best of both worlds.

Can you get a car with LS1 brakes that have not been ground? I think that is what the majority is wanting. I personally do not want to grind my brakes at all. Brakes are the #1 safety item on a car and should not be manipulated what so ever. This is the reason I have never went with prostars or draglites.

I would like to get a set of these wheels, but if they do not fit without any grinding, I will not.

I think that we can say that for now, without a doubt, they will not fit stock brakes even with grinding. Maybe they'll redesign them some but I would think it wouldn't be as cost effective for them.

I hate to add fuel to this...but I have studied these BS wheel thread since they came out. I can't think of one post, yet, where someone tried these on a car that was alread ground to fit the Draglites/Prostars. All I know is that they absolutel will not fit cars without grinding...but to what degree? I haven't seen the answer to that.

LeeDog and to answer that question is due to the fact of none of the vendors having any wheels! Its as plain and simple as that. We have them on a LS1 car out here, but the calipers were well massaged!

confusing post.
are you running a full set, or just rears? did you grind front and rear calipers, or just the rears?

That's cool....but we REALLY need to know if they'll clear the FRONT and REAR calipers on a 98-02 LS1 F-body without grinding on the calipers for clearance.
