Hey Jose do you remember the tire size you ran on this truck. I'm looking for the exact setup for my '88 rcsb. Also what's the drop and what did you have to cut out in the bed for the tubbs???

Dont mid how dirty the car is, havent washed it yet! Got my wheels mounted up this weekend. Opted for a 17x9.5 in a 7.25" backspacing on all four. Running a BFG Sport Comp2 275/40/17 all around.

I just installed a set recently. The false advertisement of "Fbody specific wheels that don't require grinding" got me. I had to grind the stock calipers. I contacted Billet Specialties and they basically said tough luck.

That's messed up. You'd think as much as these cost, they'd fit fairly easily, regardless of being "specific" or not.
Had 15x10 and 15x4 Chinese RaceStars originally, (first the grey "Bracket Rcaers", then the polished), and none required any grinding whatsoever.

My Billet Specialties rears, also "F body Specific" required absolutely no grinding at all. I even purposely started with brand new brake pads and rotors. so that they'd never be an issue.
My fronts? 180 degrees different...LOTS of grinding...
No different than the massive clearancing like that's needed on the older Weld ProStars or Draglites.

I have a pair of Jeg's SSR Stars (2nd time buying them), for just cruising around, and because they "kinda" match my black BS wheels.
The first pair (15x8, 5.5" backspace) cleared great, no issues at all.
The 2nd, and current, pair, needed some grinding...lol.

Luck of the Chinese draw, I guess...

On your 93 chevy did you have to shorten your rear end to fit the 15x12 wheels bro?
