Time has come to replace my trusty but worn out Chrome ZR1 wheels. Just spent some time in the wheels section and tried a search for these but couldnt find anything...

Was wondering if anybody has any experience with this "made exclusively for Discount Tire" brand.
I'm not sure 8.5 is going to be wide enough though after the 9.5 and 11 inchers I have on now!
I just need to keep the wheel budget manageable this time as I have other areas that need attention and these guys seem pretty reasonable when paired with a set of 245/40-18 nittos.

I work for Discount Tire. They're not bad rims at all if you're on a budget. I have never put the Drifter on a F-body, but it is a decent rim for the money. 1 year warranty on structure and on finish. Hope this helps you out.

Discount tire employee also. They're nothing special. Not a bad wheel though. Ask about KMC wheels. They're pretty stylish for the price but I heard to stay away from the chrome, peals off easy. A lot of cool designs that would suit an f-body.

Yeah I debated these wheels for a while too...they look good online. I tell you what though, I bought some MB wheels for my 91 and they looked a million times better in person, then online. Good quality and finish!

Thanks for the replies everybody.
Gonna replace the worn out ZR1's with another set of the same from TomZ Wheels.
1. Allows me to keep using the tires I have now which have good life left in them which helps with the budget as I have other things I want / need to do this year.
2. I don't think I would have been happy with the look of the 8.5" wide wheel. It's just not aggressive enough for me. Would have been a downgrade from what I have now.
3. I'm definitely a 5 spoke guy and it really is hard to beat the look of the ZR1. It just works on the Camaro![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)
C'mon Spring!
