heres the difference... both these wheels have 50mm offset, but the lugnut depth/lip of the wheel is the difference.

look at your rear wheels and then look at these grandsports... see the difference?

I told him it was a good find regardless, just making the point that they're not the real Grand Sports. I actually like these better because I don't like the deep lugs on the OEM wheels.

It doenst matter. I can personally careless if I own OEM wheels or replicas. But he's dead set that they are OEM wheels, but they arent. Either way, I agree 250 was a steal for them, especially if the wheels are mint.

and just curious... but how does trying to prove to him that he doesnt have actual OEM wheels, somehow mean that we have too much free time? I havent spent more then a few minutes in this thread/finding that pic of that wheel.

Do they say GM on them? That's the easiest way to tell if they're OEM wheels. All GM wheels are stamped GM on the them somewhere.

I said that because you obviously are going out of your way to prove him wrong. Just give it up man. If they are stamped by GM, which they are, then they are an OEM wheel. Maybe they aren't off of a ZR1, but what does that even matter? ( maybe they were off of an SS then powder-coated black )Stop wasting your time trying to prove someone else wrong. There has to be something better for you to be doing. It's nice out today, go work on your car or something! That's all I meant about that.

I had those wheels in chrome. They are replica wheels. You can tell by the shape of the spoke. GM Wheels are more rounded and do not have the lip.

I am not in a pissing match here either. I could care less, either way, it is a great deal.
