Default CCW Polishing Time

Just picked up a CCW Drag Pack over the weekend for the Formula. They had a few little nicks here and there so I sanded them out using different grits of sandpaper now I'm in the polishing phase. I "fixed" all four wheels already and have polished two. This crap is tedious but they should look extra nice when I'm done.

I took the wheels apart to make polishing them easier plus I'm changing out the bolts for socket head stainless bolts and I am going to reseal the wheels again so I don't have any future leaks.

You have the best setup. . . .17" (i think) ccw classics for the street and then the 16" ccw track pack for the weekends. I am jealous. They look awesome cleaned up! Keep up the good work.

Thanks guys. Just need to polish up one more. I didn't get a chance to work on them today but they will be finished tomorrow and have the new bolts on them. Should have some pics this weekend of them on the car.

Looks great man!

what are you using for repairing the damage...I bought a use set of classics that need some attention. Looks like the guy I got mine from used mine for road racing. I see you said sanding..but what grits? Also are you polishin by hand? or do you have a buffing wheel?

The little nicks I sanded out using 400,600,800,1000 grit. To buff them back out I'm just using the mothers billet polish and a minipower ball. I've tried a buffing wheel and different compounds before but I couldn't it figure out so I just stuck to the powerball method.

It took some research but I found some for $113 a piece. They call them vintage/antique tires or coker tires. The ones I got are Firestone Deluxe Champions.
