Honestly? I think the RPM 505s are some of the best looking wheels out there! They may not be high quality or super light weight, but they are certainly gorgeous in my opinion. In fact, they're the only wheels that I've seen in a looooong time that actually made me wanna buy a set.

Pure aesthetics I agree 100%, I looooved my rpms!!! But quality and width, could definitely be improved on.

And when I hate on their quality, I'm saying not up to par with ccw, fiske, etc.. They are just as nice as any oem knockoffs.

Anybody have any clue how much that rear is narrowed if any?

I wonder how much of a lip they can make on a stock length rear car.

I'm wishing someone would be Titanium CCW Classics on a NBM car. Now that I have titanium classics on my Cobra, I wish I would've put a set of this color Classics on my Camaro.

I don't care much for the Classics either.

They look good on that black TA from a distance, but I don't like the look of them up close.

IMO they look like something off a '80's tuner Porsche.

However the 500 and 505A's ....now those are some good looking wheels!

You are comparing a "pretty" style rim to a "drag" style rim. Compare it to a pro star, weld, Bogart, etc.. There is no comparison in that sense imo.

I want a set of classics so bad for my TA, but heaven forbid that one time I'm not paying attention and touch a curb with them, I would be beside myself. All that money for a curb rashed wheel. I've seen the quality and understand the price but most people that do ccw's have mods other places that could make them want a nice lightweight wheel. I'm driving a bone stock car, and while they would be kick ***, they just aren't needed.

Their street wheels are heavy as ****, and I have a set of CCWs on my stone stock car. As far as not paying attention and curbing a wheel, well, I try to pay as much attention when driving my Cobra with the CCWs as when the stock wheels are on it, you just have to use your head and be careful. Heaven forbid you do curb one, they're three piece wheels so you can replace just a shell on the inside, outside, or both if need be.

On a stock width rear does anybody know what the biggest lip Is you can get?

I will be running 17s.. unless someone has a better reason to go 16s. I will be getting a 315, wouldn't mind a little larger honestly but I'm not sure how big I can go with a 17 or 16. I will be running mt radials. Lowered with bmrs, I will bfh and roll fenders.
I think because they will be so fat and me having a decent amount of suspension I won't have to run a 16. I know plenty of cars running bottom 6s/high 5s on a 17 radial.

Opinions?

When i was going to get CCWs without a shortened rear axle, the rear lip was only going to be 2''. This was for 18's though. Might be different for 17s.
