No offense man, but what you haven't heard of.. could fill a warehouse. Just because YOU have never heard of something, doesn't mean it isn't good.
These tires have been used in Europe for quite some time and are by no means a "new" product. I can't personally vouch for them yet because it is still winter here.

I know what you are saying though, personally i wouldn't buy a tire that i didn't properly research. Because i hadn't heard of it, i took that as an opportunity to learn about something different and possibly get in on a product that isn't well known in North America yet. These tires will most likely go up in price as they get more popular, and there IS alot of info out there about them.

I definitely agree with you about tires being the most important thing on a car, and i would never buy a no-name or inferior quality tire just to save a buck. BUT in this case.. i don't think these tires are inferior at all and judging by the response to them so far - they will be very popular on f-bodys within the next year.

None taken my friend.

They may have been around forever in Europe but I don't know rat's *** about european tire companies that are new to this market. Their standards for production could be a lot less stringent than here for all I know. They haven't been here in the US long AFAIK and I just trust the names that are well known here in the US.

I do listen to other f-body owners on their opinions on tires for our cars though. I've used several different tires on mine over the years and IMO, the best all around tire I ever used was the Bridgestone Potenza RE730. They had awesome wet traction, decent dry and they lasted me forever. I've had GSC's, Eagle F1's, Falkens, BFGs, Kuhmos and Firehawk SZ50s. The SZ50s were the only thing that came close to the Potenzas but they didn't last long.

I'm not saying the Vredesteins are bad tires, I just don't know enough about them to trust them on my car.

They are wider than my 315 Summithomo's that I was running before. these actually fill out the wheel unlike the Summithomo

nothing personal guys but their tread design looks ugly imo

looks more like they would belong on a Mercedes or something

not crazy about the look of the sidewall too

Personally, I think the tread looks really cool, however they don't have a "left" side and a "right" side tire. Therefore, if the tread expels water by rotating in one direction, doesn't it then "draw in" water from rotating in the other?

In other words, the tread design looks like it should be used on the left side of the car, but they don't make a right side tire.....

Yeah, they do look different, but when you look at the track they leave, it actually makes sense.

There was another thread about them a while back, and one of the guys posted a handy picture:

I was going to get a set, but I've ordered a set of Nitto Invos instead.

^ Oh, apparently the insides of the tires say INSIDE SIDE -- Well that helps I was like.. there is no way in hell they're going to convince me that the tread directions doesn't matter and to just go with w/e side you want. I guess I thought wrong!

Well reading this thread is defintaely swaying me seeing where they are made at. Better get them soon though. I was looking to see if I could get them in a 335/35/17 size maybe too for the back of my 95. Though I would gladly take them in the 315, just seeing how much more I can stuff under there. They do look pretty awsome performance wise amd the price, only a 70 dollar average diferance maybe from the Sumis.

allot of posts i have seen say the 315's arent very wide. I havent seen them list a 335 in this brand but if they do make one maybe it'll be as wide as the GSD3 315's

Yes, Please post pics!!!

Today I ordered some CCW SP500s in 18x10front and 18X11rear on Vredestein 275/35-18 and 295/35-18. I need to know how they look before it's too late to change the tires.
