Well I was thinking about getting some new wheels soon and trying to decide on tire options. There was a local shop that had a z06 running on 555r's all around and they said it handled awesome altho I didnt check the tires its possible they were the rII's. I was thinking about doing somethin like this since I never drive the car in the rain but I dont want to make the ride really harsh either. Opinions??
This might not be a good idea but just a thought.. Any tires that might be more for the dry only but might be better for street driving?

I run the 555RII on all 4 corners. It does handle really well but the ride is pretty harsh. I have some suspension mods so that makes the ride a little stiffer, but I think they are good, overall. Might make sense to just run 2 on the rear if you want a smoother ride.

I have the 555R's on the rear in the 315's and the 555RII's on the front in 275's. My car is a garage queen and I dont drive it much at all but I did the Nitto's so I wouldnt have to BFH the rear and I wanted the same looking tire all the way around so thats why I went with the RII's up front. I dont see where they ride harsh or are noisy at all (hard to hear over a GMMG anyway), but they feel good on turns and def hook good....just my .02. Good looking tread and the tires arent a fortune
