Wheel Refinish Questions Okay, so I bought a 2001-2002 16" Trans Am wheel off ebay for $20 (it's the twisted 5 star design). I plan on using it to mount drag radials on that way I can swap quickly with the stock wheels on my WS6. My question is, since this wheel has a 1-1.5" long gouge in one part (it's not deep), how can I refinish the wheel relatively cheaply? Could I have it sandblasted and chrome dipped? About how much might I be charged, and where could I take it to have something like this done?

Just get some silver paint and forget about it, you can buy those rims from SLP for $50 new, if you just want to replace it. Any rim shop will charge at least $50 to repaint it.
If its chrome, your going to pay about $150-200 to get rechromed. Not worth it for some drag rims. imho.

Re: Wheel Refinish Questions I am considering getting my 01WS6 wheels chromed. I plan on getting them fixed first, as in there's a few dents, and the guy before me curbed a couple of spots on them. Is chroming these wheels even possible?
If so, I plan on getting some cheap wheels for drag tires and transfer my current tires to them while I get my WS6 wheels shipped off and dipped.
