Drag Radial tires, rims with rim screws....question

Drag Radial tires, rims with rim screws....question i have a set of rims that have already been drilled for rim screws.
I am correct in my thinking that i cannot run a radial tire now unless i drill the screw into that sidewall correct?
the tire will just leak correct?

Re: Drag Radial tires, rims with rim screws....question You could also screw them. The hoosiers I ran all last year were previously screwed but the screws did not go through the tires.

Re: Drag Radial tires, rims with rim screws....question Screwing DRs is startin to get into a crapshoot though. You could be fine and not have any problems, but on the flip side you could wind up getting a very leaky tire and get sent up the creek without a paddle.
