Vredestein Tires:

The Vredestein tires are due to be in port the end of March and to be shipped to us a few days later.

We are now doing pre-sale orders, order in the next 10 days and receive an additional $40 off.

4) 275/45/17 for $579

2) 275/40/17 2) 315/35/17 for $619

Shipping for within the continental US is generally around $75 for a set of tires.

ok awesome, i'll keep checkin too. I read on a vette forum that the Vredestein 315's run 1/10th wider than GSD3's. I just cant believe that.

The section width on the 275 and 315:

275MM (275 divided by 25.4= 10.83 inches)

315MM (315 divided by 25.4= 12.40 inches)

is that your measurement (you measure yourself?) or the mathematical measurement. I'm only asking because GSD3's seem to run wider in there "labeled" 315's and nitto and sumitomo run more narrow in size compared to the GSD3's with the same labeled 315 size.

Sounds like a nice deal. I am unfamiliar with these tires. Can you tell me what is special about them, please? Plz PM me as I may forget to come back to this thread...

Thanks

He is doing a mathematical conversion. We need the actual width, measured.

We do not have any of the 315/35/17's in the shop to measure. Those are the ones on the way and when they arrive I will get a measurement. I did measure a 275/40/17 and the tire unmounted is 11.5 inches in overall width. The tire rolls back on the corners and the tread section measured 10.5 inches.

Thanks
Tom
