Was wondering I know rim weight can play a big roll in acceleration since its what meets the pavement and it adds up (x) 4... I took off the cars stock 16 ZR1's and put my 17 WS6 rims from my other car on and they where lighter (WTF?)

I want to get some 17" ZR1's (Black) but I dont know if they are going to be weight hogs like the 16" ones.. will be running 275/40/17's like my WS6 rims..
