largest width tires on stock '99 TA rims?

largest width tires on stock '99 TA rims? my KDWS's are getting worn down and i'll need to replace them soon. i DO NOT have the money for wheels but i'd like to see if i can squeeze tires any wider than stock on the rims that i've got (the stock ones just look too skinny to me). is there any hope??
