Yes.

It is too bad I can't hook well on a 315 KD or any other street tire.
I use the Nitto as a street tire.

I tried Sumihomo's, KDW's, and a continental.

None held my first gear. My Nitto DR's do.
Might just be the set-up.

Can always try a KD next time around.

For those that say Nittos don't hook. Today I did a 0-60 in 3.99secs according to the Interceptor guage. It was on concrete. Stalled it up to ~2k and let it rip. Spun a little then hooked and pulled.

I've got nothin but good things to say. That was with no burnout too.

Since a recommended size for a 9.5" rim is a 275 or 285 max, could those 315 nittos fit on a 9.5" rim since they are not much wider than the 275 BFG's?

Would the tire go onto the rim? -Yes.

Should you drive on it? -No.

Will a mod lock this thread if everyone says its ok to put that size tire on to a x9 or x9.5 because they say it is a bad idea everytime someone asks? -Yes.

certainly sounds like a 315 nitto is comparable to a 285 BFG, which would mean the 315 would fit correctly on a 9.5" wheel. I obviously know that a 315 BFG would not though, so no reason to lock down this thread. I think we all have some common sense that are involved in the decision
