fixing curb rash on OEM zo6 rims color is silver

Exclamation fixing curb rash on OEM zo6 rims color is silver

can curb rash be fixed, how much am i gonna spend on it?
will it look good, (meaning like new)

well i just had this problem with my ZR1s, they had the polished lip and it bugged the hell outta me. it was pretty deep to and about 3 inches long, wut i did was took 800 grit sandpaper, then moved my way up to 1500 grit and slowly the curb rash went away now you cant even tell. Just make sure they arent clearcoated or it will look bad unless you reclear them.

well i think that the oems are clear coated over the silver, if i take it to a shop how much do u think ill spend?

well if you can find a place like wheel doctor or something like that i was quoted 85 bucks, try and find some wheel repair places around you.
