The reason I like these with rivets is because they don't have a stepped lip. If they weren't there, there wouldn't be a visual break between the centers and the hoops.
Due to a communication error on both ends, I found out they would have rivets about six hours before they arrived. I was pretty disappointed. Tony and I agreed I would go look at them in person, and if I didn't like them, I could order another set without rivets. But when I got to Tony's, I tried to visualize them without rivets and I think they wouldn't look as good. If they were polished centers, I would be more inclined to get them without rivets. But with the brushed center, I think they would look cheaper without rivets.

Since you seem to know what these guys have and what they can do... do you know if ^^^ this wheels (R05) is/will be available with a finish similar to a "black chrome" on the centers with a polished lip, in offsets that will give a nice lip with F-Body offsets???
If so, YAY!
If not... Booooooooooooo!!!

If you look at the options link on their page, they offer several custom finishes. Since it's a custom two-piece wheel, they should be able to do pretty much any offset you want.

I looked the site over thoroughly, they don't show a "shiny black" finish, just flat/semi-gloss. I just wondered if maybe they had something in the works for the near future.
Thanks for the info on the offsets though.

I get the feeling they don't show every conceivable configuration they offer on their website. If they do powdercoating (which they do), I'm sure they can do a gloss black.
I'd be VERY surprised if they can't do what you're after.

you want a black chrome, or more like a transparent black? Black chrome looks cheesy on a multi-piece wheel. I'd just go with a gloss black center if you want a black wheel. Like the ones I had on my C6.
I should have a set of rivet-less R05 (not R05-S) wheels showing up for a 1st gen f-body in a week or so. Brushed centers too. I think it will look killer...
