Talking DPE Forged wheels - pics

Here are two styles of 18" DPE Forged wheels that showed up today. Mike (Chuprokabra) has dibs on first choice, and then the other set will be listed for sale. Both of them have the optional brushed/clearcoated finish.

A set of 18x9 fronts and 18x10 rears costs $2950 in painted silver face, or $3250 in brushed/clearcoated as seen below.

BANDITSS: Yes. The brushed finish looks similar on all brands, it is by far my favorite finish. Gives the wheels an exotic/expensive look. Plus the clear coat makes them easy to maintain.

Added more pics...showing close-ups.

Yeah, I've been waffling back and forth since Tony and I first talked about this. It's not like I can make a bad decision...

That brushed finish looks even better than I thought it would. Even though I've often been quoted as saying I hate rivets, and it wasn't until today that I found out my wheels would have rivets (communication error on both sides), they offer a nice contrast between the brushed face and the hoop.

This weekend is looking up!

One good thing about DPE wheels is that those rivets are countersunk, which makes the wheels a lot easier to wash and polish the hoops on.

Now, some of you guys have been begging for "something different" on your f-body...so STEP UP!

Nobody makes a 2-piece smooth lip wheel wider than 10" unless the hoop is cut and a section is welded in to widen them. That adds a few hundred bucks to each wheel price unfortunately. If you want wider than 10", you have to go with the more expensive 3-piece wheels of any brand or a stepped lip.

You've always had a knack and an eye to find badass wheels Tony, those look great. They just look way too busy with all of those rivets for me. But I still like them and they look to be of a great quality wheel!

Yes your wheels do, all three piece wheels do its just that Fikse hides them having them on the inside and the stepped lip hiding them. Thats why I've always loved Fikse. But with whatever set you end up with I'm sure they will look great on your car Mike!

Peace,
Craig.
