275/60/15......lets talk side wall

I am to the point where I need to get some 15'' wheels to hook the car. I want to get some 275/60/15 MT street radials, but I am not sure if I should get a 8'' wide wheel or a 10'' wide wheel.

I would think that those tires would hook better with the 8's than the 10's because of the side wall. The side wall would be stretched more with the 10's than the 8's. Am I thinking about this correctly? Which size would you get?
