Default 18X10 and Hotchkis...

I lowered my Z28 today using Hotchkis springs on all fours. They advertised a 1in drop, but it seems like considerably more. The rear look as though it never even moved a hair .

Anyway...I have 18X10 and 18x11 CCW SP500s coming this week and wonder if I will have fitment issues now that the car is lower in front that I anticipated. The tires on front are 275/35-18F and 295/35-18R.

I am well aware there are those of you running 18x10 on front of your F-body with Hotchkis springs. Please advise of any fitment/rubbing issues that you may have. Even if you have a slammed front, but not with Hotchkis, please feel free to respond because mine is quite low...

Please post pics, as well!

Same springs here, they were standard for the Mecham T/A. In other words they have been on the car since it was brand new on the dealers lot. If the springs were going to settle any more they have done it by now.

Im also running a set of IForged 18/10 and 18/10.5 with 275/35 front 295/35 rear. The fronts barely rub on my plastic splash shield, just enough to keep the dirt polished off one spot.

Thanks guys! This really put my mind at ease. I would hate to send them back after waiting with such anticipation for their arrival.

I will post pics tomorrow....they should be mounted by then.

Sorry, guys.

I hoped the CCWs would come in today, but it looks like it will be tomorrow. I will surely get some pics up the minute I get them mounted. I am actually taking half a day off work just to receive them

Lets officially color me PISSED!!!

Pardon me in advance if any of you work for UPS, but right now I hate them! Those sum-bitches delivered 3, not 4, but 3 damn wheels/tires today! When I called, they said the other wheel/tire must've been loaded onto a different truck, therefore won't be delivered until frickin Monday

I think the only reason I am not even more pissed is because I dropped the Z28 off to have cam/headers installed, and it's also delayed until Monday. The actual install is complete, but "somehow" the computer got locked by someone and the program used to tune it on the dyno is screwed. They have to wait until Monday to obtain a new program.

I should've been cruising my new wheels/tires and sporting a fresh Megadeth (sp?) cam this weekend. Instead I can only send pics of 2 of the wheels/tires. Received 3, but only opened one of each size (18x10 & 18x11). So enjoy for now.

Question: Why did you go 18x10 in the front, isn't that too wide for the front?

Just put 275/35/18s on all four corners of my buddy's 95z. It's lowered (eibach prokit) w/Z06r 18x9.5 wheels. No rubbing there, I bet you'll be fine.

Not too wide at all. I have heard of plenty guys running 10s in front. However, I see more 9s and 9.5s up front and wanted to go wider. I will know for sure that they fit by Monday once the Z28 is back from cam install.

I am running 275/35-18 in front, so there shouldn't be any issues...
