Will 555R's 305/45 18's fit on a 18 x 9.5 C5 rim? Friend is trying to get some nitto's for his procharged vette. will the 305/45 18 fit? or is that tire only for the Lightning?

Re: Will 555R's 305/45 18's fit on a 18 x 9.5 C5 rim? There are currently NO nitto drags available to fit FBodies, or Vettes. The one for the Lightning is rediculously tall. It will change your gearing dramatically, and look foolish. Nitto says late fall before their new drags come out. BFG already has 6 18" sizes available. His Vette should get the 295-35-18s or 315-30-18s. If he wants to do a mini-tub we can slap on some 345-30-18s!!
