New wheels and about died...

New wheels and about died... Welp, it was bound to happen...something was bound to go wrong.
Apparently the caliper bracket bolts worked themselves loose, breaking the caliper/bracket loose from the spindle and sending it into a spinning wheel. I was only going about 45mph. It locked up the front right though and about sent me into a ditch. I had to get Jay to come out with a jack and tools to get it off and fix it.
Major bummer was I just spent the entire day cleaning the car and getting ready for a car show that was today.

Well after that adventure me and my buddy Moe decided to trade wheels for a week or so...btw has 19" HP EVOs.
I'm still in between on whether I like it or not. Gives the car a whole new look though...

a few years back the right front one did the exact same thing, about 15 seconds after I got off the freeway. Needless to say, I'm thankful to be alive, cuz the car stopped like it hit a brick wall when it did come loose (at ~15mph).

Ouch! Only one of my bolts came undone in my old 98 mustang. I was 16 and just got to learning about cars. I thought it was bad break so drove it with 1 bolt holding it all on. Had a big gash in my wheel like you lol. Sorry man hopefully you can get that taken care of!
