Default Need some rubber for my H/C car..

I am getting heads and cam installed soon and a Moser 12 bolt, and was wondering what was the best tire to go with.

I have Eibach Sportlines which narrows the choice down quite a bit. Can I go bigger than a 26" tire? For longevity and performance... is Hoosier a better choice than ET streets/ET drags?

What is an economical rim from Weld or someone else? What size do you guys reccomend? I was looking at the 15 and 16's.

What do you reccomend for up front. I want some skinnies, and I here a lot about the CCW's.... I guess a lot of Corvette guys run them up front. Where can I find them? Or do you recommend going with something else?

Sorry about the length and all the questions... I have never ran tires and rims like this before. Been trying to read, but got a lot of catching up to do!!

15's on an ls1 can be a bitch. Lots of grinding on the caliper. I would go with a 16x8-10 wheel, and either Hoosier QTP's or MT ET streets. 26X10.5X16 ET Streets should hook well for you. Not sure on QTP sizes though.

I thought that the 15's would have less grinding on the caliper?

What would be needed (jerry rigging) for the 26x10.5x16.

Also what rims?

if you get teh right back spacing on the rims, u shouldnt have to do any grinding. that is the key to getting rims to fit on these cars.

It may be easier if you get a set of hals out back to make room for the slicks. That opens up your options a whole lot more.
