widest/narrowest tires for 17x9.5 rims? hey all,newbie here. im looking to get some black zr1 rims for the Z, 17x9.5. what is the widest/narrowest (rear/front) tire i can fit on these rims? thanks in advance!

Re: widest/narrowest tires for 17x9.5 rims? Ideally you want a 275x40 or 285x40 on there but some have squeezed up to 315s on there (I wouldn't) and on the narrow side you might be able to go 245s but I would think 255s would be the safest 'smaller size' limit.
