Question How are Michelin Pilot Sport PS2?

Just wondering what yall think of Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's. How do they handle, are they worth the astronomical price, and how long the last?

I have KDW2's right now (almost bald) and I love them, but I have some new 10.5" rear wheels coming and I would really like to put 315's on them. And the KDW's dont come in 315's . So am thinking of trying out the PS2's, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've heard great things about the vredestein sessanta tires and a lot of people seem to like them. They say they're quiet and grip great on corners and straight.

Tomzwheels carries them.

I know they carry them in a 315/35/17 and a 315/30/18.

No DR's for me. My car is my DD and i really don't want to be driving DR's in the rain. Plus I like driving the mountain roads and a DR would not be to beneficial to me there either. And they wont last as long being driven on the road day in and day out. Thanks for the input though.

Excellent tires, I have a set on the wheels I use from summer. Pricey but definitely delivers the results you'd want if you're often a spirited driver. The Vederstein (sp) tires do not compare, they are more of a HTR Z upgrade for DD'ing and random weekend fun.

If you have 17's I would rec the GSD3's over the PS2's anyday. I worked at a shop in the bay area and we did "ride and drives" as sales people so we could let people know from first hand experiance what and why we rec a tire. The PS2 is a good tire, but not worth the money in a way shape or form. If they make more tires in that size there are a ton that blow the PS2's out of the water from my testing them, and boy did I test them.

What size wheels are you putting the 315s on? I ask because the GSD-3 comes in a 295/35-18 and we know Goodyears run pretty wide. In order to really fit a 315mm tire you need AT LEAST a 10.5" wheel.

The 315's are $456 a piece from discount tire. Thats why want to know if they are any good, because I'm not rich and I don't want to waste money.

Mine are 295's 18inch- and they were 478 a piece.. (at least thats what ive been told..) they have been on the car since 24k miles..- car now has 31k on it- and they are down to the wear marks- just normal driving- every once in a while hole shots.. Ya, these tires do 2 things: Wear quick, and make your wallet wear quick as well! lol
