Default Strip Nitto pressure

What is the best tire pressure for my Nitto's at the strip? I have been running 21psi but i still have traction issues....Help!

You can go MUCH lower

Be sure to heat them up well. Drive around and back into the water. I've ran as little as 14psi in mine.. but anything under that didn't seem to help.

I usually run them at 17-18psi.
And I second driving around the water box.
I usually back into the water, then pull up out if it before doing a burnout.

I ran my 555R's at 18 psi and I was still getting wheel hop.

so i should back into the water and pull out then do the burnout? I heat them up pretty good with the line lock....can you overheat them?

Start the burnout... and count to 3-4. That'll normally be enough.

I've done a full burn out (slick style) with mine without issues. Because I forgot I was on DR's

I've run mine 18-22 psi on 245/50/16s. Yes, pull around the waterbox and back up into it, then pull forward 3-5 feet and do your burn. I usually count to five for smoke, then release and get to the line as quick as possible. Don't let them cool off! Can't beat Nittos for street/strip performance!
