Default MT ET Street Radials - Tire wear?

How do i know if i need new tires. They look kind of chewed up but does that mean that i need new ones or is that normal. I drive them alot on the street so how long are they supposed to last?

It is hard to say how long they should last. It depends on how you drive on them, the roads & the pressure you run them at. I have a set on my car w/ over 10k miles & around 50 track passes. When they get the chewed up look, they tend to not last very long.

well mine have lasted me about 20k miles now + 3 or 4 nights at the track (5-7 passes each time) and I just got down to the wear indicators. these tires really aren't bad for street driving, you just can't tear them up on the street.
