Question !!!!!! Y2k Need Help!!!!!!

I recently purchased a set of OE Y2Ks. 17x8.5(front), 18x9.5(rear).
I should have read this more in depth before my purchase. The wheels look OK but I expected a more aggressive look. It bothers me when Im walking towards my car and the rear wheels look really tucked in. What kind of spacer or what do I need to get that look that i so desire. I have seen other TAs with the same wheels and they look fine. I guess they were smart enough and bought the replicas with different offset. I have 245/45(front) and 275/40(rear) on the wheels. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Maybe they bought wider wheels? Either way. Depending on your offset, I think a 1inch spacer will fix your problem.

Question Y2k Help

Lugnuts? Just lugnuts and/or bolts? What spacers do u guys recomend? I heard that anything over 1" is not safe and that 1" is pushing it. Does anyone have pics of, before and after spacers? If so can u please post. I think I read somewhere in here that OE Y2ks are +61 in the rear 18x9.5

I've owned a couple of these exact 1inch spacers..
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Wheel...spagenameZWDVW

Fast shipping and have never had a problem. I have ran them with zr1 wheels and also y2k wheels. Each time, it moved the rim out to where an 11inch rim would sit. I've "personally" never had any issues with the spacers that I've used, but I also know that spacers in general are "looked down upon". So use them at your own risk.

Default adapters/spacer problem

I recently purchased the 1" adapters just like the bolt on ones pictured above. My problem is that my hub bolts are to long, so when installing the adapter the wheel doesnt sit correctly because they hit the original bolts. Has anyone the same problem? Any idea of what I can do besides changing bolts? Is grinding or cutting the excess out of the question? The bolt sticks out about 1/2-3/4" after adapter is installed! ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!
