anyone run a 285/40/17 in the front??

stock height car, wondering if a 285/40/17 would rub in the front??

I tried it on a lowered 98 SS. They did rub in the front. Probably would with a stock height car as well.

I think most run 275s. Those rub a little on mine.

I was running a 285/40 GSD3 in the front, and they rubbed just a little on the black plastic fender liner in the front. Nothing major though.

i had 275s on a 2" lowered car and they BARELY touched the liner only in full turn. i was thinking of a way to run a fairly wide tire in the back and be able to rotate, but as usual im prob just gonna run a 12" in the back and a 275 in the front lol.
