road race or drag radials?
The Kumhos are sticky but have very stiff sidewalls (for better handling obviously) so they won't hook as well as the Nittos in a straight line I bet plus they'll wear out just as quickly (quicker?) as the BFGs.
My suggestion. Nitto 555R's (DR). I've ran them on my car(s) for over 3 years without issue. You'll get 12,000 to 15,000 miles out of them depending on the amount of track miles (burnouts).
They work well at the track also.. I went 1.59 60ft on the 315's.

yeah ask me about DR's in the rain, about a month ago i was driving home from school and it started to rain. a car started sketching out in the fast lane right next to me and i moved over to the right side of my lane to avoid him from side swiping me. i was going 50 mph and all of a sudden a fat patch of water was across the road spun me around, busted a 360 on the highway and slapped the nose of my car into the wall
cant claim it on insurance cause it will be my third claim. suggestions are dont drive the SS in the rain and if you have to an have DR's go 30 mph
got a lot of use out off them. they worked awesome in the rain when new, then they just got plain scary....although i dont even drive the car if its gonna rain out. id like to test out the bfgs just to see how they are. what do most see out of them- about 8K miles? i got about 13K street miles and 4 or so track visits on my nittos. Had both in the rain.
Loved the BFGs in the dry, Hated them in the wet. 6th gear wheelspin. Scary. always on the edge.
The Nittos are a happy medium. below 60 mph, great in the rain when ~ new. They hook partially in 1st towards the top.
Raise the air in them, and the serve as a nice road race tire

The BFGs also have a larger footprint.
Just my $.02
