Is this patchable or can I put a plug in it?????
I bought a pair of tires from Ebay and what do you know. There is a nail hidden very close to the side wall. Goodyear didn't want to patch it but I think it would be ok. Anbody with advise?? Well the tire blow up or something??? Pics wont up load...

Just a question what happens? Does it tear, shread, blow up? I used paypal when I bought them on ebay but that was eight weeks ago. Wonder if I will get my money back????

Man that's kind of a bad place for any type of repair. You could plug it, but who knows what'll happen to it when you decide to take that occasional 120+mph run A tire failure at that, let alone any decent speed, could end w/ dire consequences.

More than likely you're gonna experience a blowout if ur working it hard when it goes, otherwise the patch will just loose its hold and you'll come out to a flat tire in the morning. Just my opinion, your car, and your life for that matter, is worth 1 or 2 hundred dollars for a new one.
