Car looks SICK! Love the blacked out look. I actually like those in silver more than chrome.

The bit about spitting out mouse halves had me rolling btw...

A basic 5 star rim design (like the C6, Firehawks, ZR1, etc.) always look good to me in silver over chrome. However, I like the multispoke designs, like the C5 Z06 rims in chrome...go figure...

Local law enforcement usually is NOT too crazy about the blacked out look. It's been a while since I've gotten a tickets for the light covers and tint, but when they do write me tickets for it, they usually make sure they inlclude ALL the violations The last time I got a ticket for speeding, the officer went ahead and added the tint and cover violations to the ticket and it cost me almost $300...funny thing is, the speeding ticket was cheaper than the other violations...

And as far as my neighbors grass, it's been MUCH, MUCH worse before! I've taken a yard stick out to measure it in the past and it seriously has hit almost 3 ft. tall w/weeds. We don't have an ordinace in our county about grass height, but I read in our paper a few weeks ago that they're finally considering one. My neighbor on the other side is a yard FANATIC, so I live between the best and worst yards in my neighborhood...

Thanks for the compliments guys! I'm pleased with the results!

did you have to put spacers in the rear, im thinking about buying a set of c6 OEMs and want to know about fitting issues.... about your neighbors yard, just do what they do in the worlds fastest indian and just pour some gas on there and throw a match!

Yes, 1.25" adapters/spacers are required to run the OEM C6 19x10's w/79mm offset. I have them on all 4 corners to allow these rims to fit. If you're going with the 18/19 OEM C6 rims, the 18's do NOT need spacers on the front, but the rears will require 1.25" adapters/spacers.

Those look really good. I'm usually not a fan of 19's or C6 wheels but, yours looks excellent! Great job man

Nope! The tires are 275/30/19, so they're just a little wider than the 275/40/17's I had on there and they're 25.5" tall vs. 25.66" tall for the 17's, so they're basically the same overall size as the 17's I took off.

Nice, but the brakes are too small, change them.

Yes, the stock C6 19x10 rim has a 79mm offset if I remember correctly. That's why the 1.25" adapters are necessary.

However, I haven't had these rims in years! The small sidewall of the 30 series tire just made for a very rough ride and very little traction as well. I've been on 18x9.5 C5 Z06 rims for several years now and am much happier with the ride.
