which component set?
which component set? im kinda a kicker fan so id like to get the resolutin set but money is tight right now.i got a fosgate 551x power amp that shells out about 75 watts rms a channel in 4 ohms. im running a seperate kicker L7 12" sub in a custom fiberglass box behind my passenger hatch panel off of a fosgate power 550s (@ 600 watts rms)with a 1 farad cap. any good contenders out there without the $ tag? any good ideas for the tweeters without making any holes or adhesive? (im not doing anything to the vehicle unless i can get the matching part used and mod it while i store the original.) all ideas welcome.

Re: which component set? If your really set on Kicker, they make lower end components. Check out this list. If you want some other suggestions, I'd go with the Infinity Reference line. You can get them for around $90 new off Ebay. I pumped 100WRMS through them for years without one problem. Sound REAL nice for the money.

A 15 L7 is rated @ 1000w RMS. I would not give it more than 1200w RMS otherwise you will burn the voice coils. 2000w RMS on one of these, and you will fry it.
