Default Need new alternator with 500watt amp?

Will I need to replace my alternator to run my new 500watt Alpine amp?

If so, which one would you recommend?

No, you're good. Unless you have 2 1000w and you're running 2+ 15" 's, you're stocker will rock anything (to an extent).

Yea for only a 500watt amp I couldnt imagine you having any problems with your stock alternator!
