Turning Off Horn From Keyless Entry Action

Turning Off Horn From Keyless Entry Action You can turn off the beep-beep. The procedure is in the owner's
manual but it doesn't mention that you have to turn off both the
lock beep-beep and the anti-theft beep-beep to get the car to
lock quietly. This eluded me the first time I tried to shut it up.
Procedure
Key on, key off (disables alarm etc.)
Remove Radio fuse, driver's door fuse panel at lower right
Turn key to ACC position. Two bells, if you only get one
bell then forget it and read your own manual, different.
Press remote Unlock button, listen to bells. Each time you
press Unlock it will roll the mode code. Stop when you get
4 bells, this means lights only for door locks (you can also
turn off lights but I wanted confirmation, just quiet).
Press remote Lock button. Repeat until you get 3 bells. This
makes anti-theft lights-only.
Key off, replace Radio fuse, all done. Now lights flash on lock
but no noise.

Mine is still on the factory settings. I just press the door lock button and it locks the doors and just flashes the parking lights and arms the alarm. Locking it with the remote gives the two beeps and parking lights, but only once to let me know the hatch or a door isn't fully closed.
