He did, but apparently has had a lot of physical therapy related to his back surgery and isn't too interested in doing a lot of fab work. I don't want to keep bugging a man who's down and out either, so I would rather go with another manufacturer. I think you should proceed with a run of them to fill the gap.

We'll see... I don't want to step on toes. I just want to provide whatever is not being provided. If he's still not up for it by the time we have the Camaro one up then we'll go for it.
Anyone want to be without their stock one for awhile and get it made at cost shoot me a PM (this offer is for Birds)...

Heres the deal. I might not be stepping on anyones toes, or maybe everyones but this is how the story goes.
Some lady had a hot bezel she posted once, and that shop prob was charging $400.
Firebird bezels are MUCH easier to make, duh...
Kee Audio started making DD Firebird bezels and started experimenting with Camaro ones.
Kee Audio might even have the capacity to mass produce Firebird bezels, but that depends on demand- since he needs to put in an initial investment.
Currently Ian is recovering and I DO NOT know if he has started to make Firebird bezels again.
Currently Ian Kee is not interested in making Camaro bezels. I drive a Camaro, he installed my Avic-f90bt, i would know if he wanted to make them.... cause i would have bought it from him....
Doubled mods DOES make both bezel types, Ian does know, and hes happy for them.
6Litereater will be selling the camaro one soon. <----great guy in this community
The Big question:
I have every picture ever posted on the internet on DD camaro bezels. I'm making one. A few things are consistent....
There appears to be a 1 to 3 mm difference in the placement of the 2 Din units and some units like the avic have a piece that sticks out ~2mm. So it might not fit perfect
. Its also hard to make the color match a worn out dash... and its hard to get the texture perfect.
considering that its hard to make these, i have a lot of respect for everyone who tries. Since I'm going thru finals, maybe next week i'll actually finish mine and post it instead of the DD hole that's cut into my 'practice' bezel. That post will include Ian Kee's awesome work installing my unit.
P.S. buy the DD units, and cut a hole! Id rather drive around like this then with the shitty factory unit distortion box that only plays FM sucky radio. Then when you have the money, buy or make your own DD bezel.
P.P.S. do not move your abs and fog light switches, thats UGLY
P.P.P.S. anyone has a suggestion in where i should put the microphone wire for bluetooth?
