Default Any way to run speakers off headunit?

I only run one front speaker, and would like to remove the amp if possible. Is there any way to power one Infinity Kappa speaker with the stock headunit and get any kind of volume?

why would you want to do that it would sound like complete crap. Firstly deck power is BAD for an Infinity Kappa, better off with a Reference. If you cut the wiring to one of the tweeters, cut off the crossover and use that wire, thats deck power and it would be full range...

Why would you want to do this????

Trying to get some weight out of it. Oh well, might just remove the whole system then. Thanks for the tip though, might try it first.

I've only had one speaker for a while. Just trying to eliminate the amp. I've got one of those little boom box things, might see if I can hear it over the duals. If I can, out comes the system.
