system install what do i need?

system install what do i need? i currently have a stealth boz with alpine v series sub. i am running that off the stock head unit with a cheap boss amp powering it. when i bought the car it had a little box hooked into the rear channels for rca's and remote. i have been piling up **** so here's the list.
-sony headunit
-alpine 6.5" for doors
- 10 disc sony changer
- 1.5 monster cap
- 4 gauge amp kit w/ fuse etc.
-and some other odds and ends.
My main questions are; if i am using the monsson amp still for the door speaks should i run it through the cap? if so what wire gauge and setup would you recomend(dist block, etc.)? also whcih wires off the stock door speakers need to be run to the mid driver, and which will go to the tweeter? i knkow i need to cut the wire off the alpines and do some soldering. would i keep the resistor on the alpines or let the monsoon handel which freqs its getting? I have an underdrive pulley do you think the stock alternator will be ok. i have a alt overdrive pulley sitting in the garage if it will help. any input is welcome. i will get my sony model #'s up when i get home.

i have had it for years. i am just using it for now. i am not married to it though. what kind of downside to the sony unit other than not the best quality sound? and it may not work with a PAC unit to keep the steering controls.
what kind of terminals are good out there for hooking 4 gauge wire to battery and cap and amp? and i am not totally new at this and know i will need a wiring harness, dash kit, additional wiring etc.

do not run the stock monsoon amp threw a cap, leave it alone
caps really dont do too much of anything but look good.
upgrade your wire under the hood to 0 gauge and get a good battery and you shouldnt need a new alternator
oh yea and unless that was one of the high end sonys, it is proble junk

here is an update on my equip. the front speaks are alpine sps-17c2, the sony deck is a cdx-ca860x, the changer is a sony cdx-747x, i have a sony xa-300 aux-in selector. my main thing is what and where to cut and wire with the alpine speaks. and what gauge wire to use to solder it into the monsoon wiring.
