Courtesy Lights??
I just installed courtesy lights down by your feet for my 94 Z and tied the wiring in with the orange wire that runs up the "A" pillar. The problem is when you shut the door the regular lights go off but my new courtesy lights stay on?? There are three wires, orange, grey, and black. I know black is ground but should it go to the grey wire??

PLEASE tell me more, I'm fighting with it right now. I'm using my own ground and they are reversing from what I what them to do. In other words when I shut the door the lights come on and when opened they go off?? I first tried tapping into the orange wire that runs up the A pillar to the mirror but they were constantly on so then I tried tapping into the door switch itself but that's when they started to reverse. The A-pillar would be the best place to tap into so would I just use that ground wire that runs along side the orange wire??

If I remember correctly, the mirrors always have power and have nothing to do with the courtesy lights so that is the wrong place to get power in this situation.
