Hey, you could make out really good here. She won't know the difference... tell her she has to buy it because there's something wrong with her car. Sell it to her for way too much (just about enough to buy an aftermarket HU), and put a new radio in your car. Win/win for you. Lose/lose for her... but what she doesn't know doesn't matter.

well if all else fails, I will sneak in her garage and swap HU's out.. she won't know the difference lol

WAHOO!!.. after some fast amazon.com shipping, I got the part today.. hooked it up and my display read "Disc 1 track 1".. BOOM it was working!.. I am VERY happy with the chance I took on this! My Sirius and Zune both played perfectly!

FWIW my HU is a very early HU and does not have the "A" on the CD drive... I am thinking there is something else that decides whether or not a HU can use the GM9 possibly.
