Wait for the window motor to cool off. There is a thermal switch in the motor, which is probably what has gone bad on you. It trips the motor when it senses all the way up/down and becomes overly sensitive when it goes bad.
If you get some holy intervention, it may put the glass up enough to the point where you can grab it. If so, turn the car off, let it cool for a couple of minutes, open the door, and then press the window button while tugging up on the glass. This may be enough to "help" the motor get the glass up. Once its up - don't put it down again until you have a new motor by your side!
