I found a universal projector fog light thats 4 1/2 in diameter, 55W, 12V and projects about 100M:

Ad then I found these seal beam 4x6 projector headlights:

I think these just might work. NIce bright lights but without blinding anybody. Hope I'm not breaking any rules here.

Those 4x6 headlights are not projectors. They are crappy reflectors with a hunk of glass stuck in them to fool people. The beam pattern it bad.

I don't seen any output pics of those universal fog projectors, but I've seen similar ones on ebay with poor putout.

Stick with something known for good output instead of going the cheap route with either of those.

Check out the Morimoto LED and BMW X5 LED fog lights for sale at The Retrofit Source. The Morimoto I think are 4", not sure. The X5 are a bit of an odd shape.

Morimoto $160

BMW X5 $60

Did you ever measure your mustang fog lights?
Anyone ever find out what the OD of the Audi A6 ones are?
The Morimoto's look promising...

Sorry, I haven't measured the Mustang fog lights yet. It is a little difficult to get a good measurement with the billet grill installed. Maybe I can get the radiator cover off and get a measuring tape in there.

Thanks VIP1, those Morimotos look like a nice upgrade. I am very pleased with the Blackbird Lighting Solutions Morimoto HID projector kit I have, so I expect a similar first-class product. My stock fogs still work, but due to the amount of road rash peppering on the lenses, I may go for those when the bulbs burn out. Here's a link to it, by the way.
